Casual Driving


All our Karts are powered by 200cc Honda Four Stroke engines producing lots of low end torque which gives you maximum pull off slower corners and high speed down the straight. They have electronic timers to record every lap you do, giving you the option of reviewing your on track performance.


The Gepps Cross track is recognised by all who have driven it as one of the best hire kart tracks, not only here in Adelaide but around Australia. The track has been extended (March 2008) and is now 550 metres long. Running half indoor, half outdoor with a combination of long fast corners and tight hairpins, making it one of the most challenging hire kart circuits around.


Whether you're coming down for a casual drive, or looking at our more competitive race meeting options; bring friends, family or work mates, we will make sure that fun and excitement is had by all.

Single Karts

These are our standard karts that are available 7 days a week.
We can operate up to  14 karts on track at any one time, with speeds reaching approximately 60 kph.
   
10 kart maximum on indoor only track ie. wet weather

Drivers must meet the below criteria to drive on their own:
  • Minimum Age: 12 yrs
  • Minimum Height: 150 cm 
  • Fully enclosed shoes required 

HELMETS and HAIR NETS are PROVIDED

NOTE: You can use your own helmet providing it meets the following criteria:
  • Only a one piece full face helmet that complies and displays the Australian Standard  AS 1698 or AS/NZS 1698:2006.
  • We understand that some helmets can cost many 1000's of dollars, can be used under CAMS and in some cases are superior to other helmets, however a SNELL rating European or DOT rating USA, does not comply with our Insurance and SAFEWORK SA legislation.
  • Please check your helmets sticker before you bring it in to use.

$25 10 minutes   =   15 laps approx.
$45 20 minutes   =   30 laps approx.
$60 30 minutes   =   45 laps approx.

Dual Karts

Seated side by side, these 2 seater karts are especially designed for adults to drive children around the track and introduce them to the thrilling experience of karting.

We have 2 dual karts available and they share the same track as the Single karts so your whole family can drive together. The 2 dual karts do not have lap timers.
  • Minimum  Driver Age: 18 yrs
  •               Passenger Age: 5 yrs
  •               Passenger Height: 110 cm
